Back in 2018, I was working with a portfolio that wasn't performing well. Not because the assets were bad, but because tracking everything across multiple platforms was a nightmare. Spreadsheets got outdated. Data didn't sync. And making informed decisions felt like guesswork.

That's when the idea hit me. What if there was a platform that actually simplified investment tracking without dumbing it down? Something that respected your intelligence but saved you hours of manual work.

We spent eighteen months building the first version. It wasn't pretty, but it worked. And more importantly, it solved a real problem that we personally experienced every day.

I've been working in financial technology since 2012, mostly building tools that institutions use internally. Kryzo Pwiju started as a side project to solve my own investment tracking problems. Turns out a lot of other people had the same frustrations.

Before this, I spent six years at a portfolio analytics firm in Toronto. That experience taught me what professional investors actually need versus what software companies think they need. There's usually a big gap between those two things.
